Basic Audition Guidelines
Play Guidelines: Musical Guidelines:
  • Be prepared for cold readings from the script
  • A monologue of 1 minute or less may be needed
  • Follow additional requirements as indicated for the specific audition
  • Prepare your best excerpt of a song (a verse or a chorus) and bring sheet music
  • No CD or taped accompaniments please
  • Prepare for a possible dance audition
  • Follow additional requirements as indicated for the specific audition
