Scrooge, Marley, Tiny Tim and all the denizens of Dickens' classic are given the full Broadway treatment in this version by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once on This Island).  Their score is filled with beautiful melodies and emotional lyrics, including the new holiday standard, "A Place Called Home."  This San Antonio premiere begins a new Playhouse holiday tradition.
