Wendy Wasserstein's last play is considered by some critics to be one of her finest.  Set in the world of academe, celebrated liberal feminist author Laurie Jameson urges her class to "renew our scholarship by eliminating any heterosexist, racist or classist barriers" creating a hegemonic-free zone.  When Woodson Bull III (Third), a preppy attending school on an athletic scholarship, turns in a brilliant discourse on KING LEAR, her own prejudice regarding preppy jocks and intelligence soon causes both their worlds to unravel.  Funny, bright, endearing and thought-provoking, Third is truly something to see.
